Review Books ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. Core principle — everything stays on your device

All data you create in the App (books, fields, reviews, photos, settings, etc.) is stored solely on your device. The developer does not collect, view, or transmit this data. No account or sign-in is required, and no data is synced to any external server.

2. Photo access

The App accesses your photo library / camera only when you choose to attach a photo to a review, and only with your permission. Selected photos are stored on your device and are never transmitted externally. Exported backups do not include the photo files themselves.

3. Data export / import (backup)

The App can export and import your data as a JSON file. Where an exported file is shared or saved is chosen by you through your operating system's share sheet. The developer does not receive its contents.

4. Advertising (free version)

The free version displays ads through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may access and use information such as advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android).

• iOS: The App shows the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, non-personalized ads are served.
• EEA and similar regions: Where applicable, a consent dialog is shown via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

For how AdMob handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

5. Analytics

The App does not use any third-party analytics that track your usage.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.

7. Deleting your data

Uninstalling the App removes all data stored on your device. You can also delete individual books or reviews within the App at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
